How Much Does it Cost to Get an Attorney?

Billing for transactional matters is generally offered at a flat rate based on an estimate of the attorney's time. Fees range from $600.00 to $5,000.00 depending on the nature and scope of legal services needed. Transactional matters include: Leases, Deeds, Contracts, Estate Planning, and Seller Financing Documents.

For clients with matters that are disputed or may lead to litigation, the following options are generally offered:

• Limited scope flat rate (specific) services and hybrid flat rate and hourly services starting at $900.00
• Hourly services at $375.00 per hour

Litigation matters are offered at an hourly rate of $375.00. An upfront advance fee (commonly referred to as a retainer) will be required. The firm's minimum litigation advance fee is $3,000.00.

Attorney Thornton supports a variety of charitable causes and provides referrals to pro-bono agencies in Florida. The Law Office of Tiffani K. Thornton is not presently accepting pro-bono matters, however payment arrangements may be available depending on the circumstances.
